After 6 years of selling property in Spain, Sunline International has established itself as one of the leading companies in the area. The company directors are Phil Birtwistle who originates from Liverpool and who was the founder and long time owner of the one of the country's first, free advertising newspapers, The Mersey Mart. After a successful career in the advertising world, he emigrated to Spain where he co-founded Sunline International.
His business partner and long time friend is Ian Gibson who has his roots deep in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside. As a qualified surveyor and once the owner of his own construction company he has a proven track record in the housing industry. For 16 years prior to emigrating to Spain, he was Landlord of one of Yorkshire's most famous hostelries.
The Sales Manager is ex Oldham Policeman David Hughes whose honest and no nonsense approach helps you sort out all the minor and frustrating problems you encounter when buying a property abroad. Dave moved to Spain over 5 years ago with his wife and young son and has been with Sunline since the company began. Having started as a sales agent he has gained the experience, both personal and professional, necessary to take over his present position at which he excels. He is assisted by the senior Sales Administrator, Lola Day, who, as a director of a UK Industrial and Commercial heating company and an executive of one of the country's leading marine manufacturers has a wealth of knowledge in sales and promotion.
Sunline International has developed an After Sales department second to none and this is run most admirably by Post Contracts Manager Geraldine Watterson who has established a system whereby clients are seen through the whole process of purchasing a property up to and including and in most cases beyond the signing of the property. Dozens of previous clients will testify to this statement without hesitation.
Sunline has been fortunate in being able to recruit to their ranks Horst Zaun, a German by birth, who has lived in Spain for over 5 years. He spent several years working for a Spanish construction company both in sales and project management and has the attributes of being fluent in both Spanish and English. He takes care of all the legal requirements for the clients from N.I.E numbers to wills and applications for residencia as well as overseeing the smooth operation of signing deeds at the Notary.
A recent and most valuable addition to the team is Adam Wilde who has a background in the computing industry. After three years at University where he obtained an Honours Degree in Business & Information Systems he worked most successfully in the private sector in the UK. Looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to work abroad Sunline were able to entice him to Spain to join the team. He now has responsibility for the company's IT Department.
At the head of the Sales Team are husband and wife Steve and Pauline Wilde who spent 16 successful years in the bar/restaurant industry in the UK. With Steve's previous experience in the construction industry and Pauline's background in sales and administration they have the perfect recipe for the friendly and relaxing approach our clients deserve and receive.
